| Abstract | This report discusses the role of the private sector in driving agricultural progress during the COVID-19 pandemic in Uganda, focusing on farming as a business (FaaB) and climate-smart agriculture (CSA). The study examines the impact of COVID-19 on the private sector, particularly on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and how some businesses demonstrated resilience through innovation and adaptation. The paper highlights the progress made by REACH-Uganda's private sector partners in implementing detailed collaboration agreements (DCAs) and their investments in rice and potato farming.
