AbstractThis document provides an overview of the approach and objectives of 2SCALE, a program that establishes public-private partnerships (PPPs) to support inclusive agribusiness models. The program aims to contribute to rural economic development, food and nutrition security, and poverty reduction. Establishing agribusiness clusters (ABCs) forms the basis of 2SCALE's approach, bringing together various local actors involved in a particular commodity value chain to address their challenges and improve competitiveness. The objectives of ABCs include empowerment of local actors, co-innovation, establishing effective business relations, and improving access to inputs and services. The report also highlights the role of ABC coaches in facilitating the development and sustainability of ABCs. These coaches support the formation of ABCs, facilitate stakeholder interactions, and provide technical and capacity-building assistance. The paper emphasizes the importance of empowering local actors and fostering collaboration for sustainable agribusiness development and poverty reduction.
